CYDS was born in November 2025 when a group of Grade 8–12 students from King’s Children School decided Calgary’s future shouldn’t be designed without youth voices. Starting with just 15 members, we quickly partnered with UCalgary SAPL and local architects to turn ideas into real projects. Today, we’re Calgary’s first youth-led design society — and we’re just getting started.
