Who can join?
Calgary-area teens aged 13 and older. Parent or guardian consent may be required for activities.
Is membership free?
Yes. Some optional events may have personal costs such as transit, meals, or materials, and those will be listed clearly.
Do I need design experience?
No. CYDS is beginner-friendly and useful for students already interested in architecture, design, or planning.
Is CYDS affiliated with a university?
CYDS is building mentor and post-secondary relationships. We only list confirmed partnerships when they are ready to verify.
Will I receive a certificate?
CYDS can provide participation documentation for active members. Certificates do not guarantee school admission or course credit.
How do I ask questions?
Email info@cydsociety.ca and include the student's age, school grade, and area of interest.
